Invasive Species Workdays at Bunker Nature Preserve 12/3 and 12/6
Join us for a volunteer workday at Bunker Nature Preserve to help restore native habitats by removing invasive species! These workdays are a great way to make a hands-on difference in conservation and enjoy the outdoors with fellow volunteers.
We’ll be using the cut-stump method to remove invasive woody species such as autumn olive, honeysuckle, and buckthorn, helping native plants and wildlife thrive. All tools and materials will be provided.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
No experience necessary — everyone is welcome!
Together, we can help keep Bunker Nature Preserve healthy and resilient
Please email executivedirectormmlc@gmail.com if you are interested in attending. This ensures we have enough tools and supplies for everyone.
