Invasive Species Workday at Bunker Nature Preserve

  • 4349 Bunker Road Mason, MI, 48854 United States (map)

Join us for a volunteer workday at Bunker Nature Preserve to help restore native habitats by removing invasive species! These workdays are a great way to make a hands-on difference in conservation and enjoy the outdoors with fellow volunteers.

We’ll be using the cut-stump method to remove invasive woody species such as autumn olive, honeysuckle, and buckthorn, helping native plants and wildlife thrive. All tools and materials will be provided.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.

No experience necessary — everyone is welcome!

Together, we can help keep Bunker Nature Preserve healthy and resilient.

If you’re interested in volunteering, email executivedirectormmlc@gmail.com
This helps us ensure we have enough tools and supplies for everyone.
